Our Wines List

Our wine list is presenting the best selection
of the Loire Valley wines :
red wines of Chinon, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil
 and Bourgueil ( cabernet franc)
but also from Anjou and Touraine (gamay, cabernet franc and cot),
dry white wines from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé
dry, semi-dry or sweet white wines (Chenin) from Montlouis, Vouvray or Anjou (Bonnezeaux, Côteaux du Layon, Chaume et Quart de Chaume),
some in old vintages.

We have our own cuvées in white with
 Didier Dagueneau 's Pouilly Fumé
and in red with Yannick Amirault's Bourgueil.

 Our wine list has been elected by the Revue des Vins de France as a wine list "Coup de Coeur" :
the best selection of the Loire Valley wines.

We are also presenting Burgundy, Bordeaux, Champagne
and a selection of the best wine-makers of

Saint-Vincent celebration

  Each year in January and early February
wine luncheons and wine dinners are held
to commemorate the patron saint of wine makers,
 Saint Vincent.
 These get-to-gethers, 
 "Les Rencontres de la Saint-Vincent" are held
each weekend at Saturday dinners and Sunday luncheons.

Wine makers representing different wine producing areas of France come to The Grand Hotel du Lion d'Or
to share their wines with you.
Chef Didier CLEMENT creates special dishes for the wines which are served by the glass with each course.
